By accessing the Pathify website or using the Pathify app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Pathify.
Emergency warning: Pathify is not an emergency service. If there is immediate risk to life, safety or property, call 999. For non-emergency police matters in the UK, call 101. Do not delay seeking professional help because of anything shown in Pathify.
1. What Pathify is
Pathify is a personal-safety assistant for the UK market, starting with a London beta. It combines area awareness, reviewed guidance and action routing to help users think clearly about their next step.
2. What Pathify is not
Pathify is not a crime map, emergency dispatch system, legal advice service, security service, medical service or guaranteed route-safety product. It cannot promise that an area, route or decision is safe.
3. Your judgement remains essential
Information shown in Pathify may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or affected by device settings, signal quality, data availability, third-party systems or local conditions. You remain responsible for your decisions and for following instructions from emergency services, transport staff, police or other competent authorities.
4. Beta availability
Pathify may be offered as a beta product. Features may change, be paused, be withdrawn, or operate differently across locations. We may update the app, website, wording, scores, guidance and supported areas at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Pathify. In particular, you must not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, scrape, resell, impersonate, harass, threaten or use Pathify unlawfully. You must not use Pathify to make false emergency reports or to encourage unsafe behaviour.
6. Accounts, subscriptions and App Store terms
If Pathify introduces accounts or paid features, additional terms may apply. Purchases through iOS are also governed by Apple's App Store terms and policies. Apple is not responsible for Pathify's content, safety guidance or support.
7. Intellectual property
Pathify, its design, wording, software, icons, marks, screens and content are owned by Pathify or its licensors. You may use the app and website for personal, lawful purposes only. No rights are transferred to you except the limited right to use Pathify as intended.
8. Third-party services and data
Pathify may rely on third-party systems such as maps, transport information, app-store services, hosting providers or public data sources. We are not responsible for third-party outages, inaccuracies or changes.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, Pathify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable losses, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from reliance on incomplete or unavailable information.
10. Suspending or ending access
We may suspend, restrict or end access to Pathify if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, if required by law, for security reasons, or where a service is discontinued.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Pathify develops. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of the part of the UK where you live.
